Yesterday morning a friend and I were about to head out to malibu to jog on the beach. We didn't know there was wildfire going on 'til I spoke to a friend who lives in Malibu. I've watched the news ever since and I still can't turn away from the tv. I'm worried about my friends in Malibu and friends in OC who had to evacuate. My heart goes out to all these beloved friends, every one out there who has lost their homes, the firefighters, and everyone involved. Also to the man who opened the gate to free the horses: that has touched my heart! Goodluck to everyone!

It is. These past days I have been going to sleep hoping to wake up in the morning to news that the fires have been contained. I hope tomorrow is that day.
